NATIONAL BIOPHOTONICS AND IMAGING PLATFORM IRELAND
A 30million euro platform funded under the Higher Education Authority of Ireland – Programme for Research in Third Level Institutions
- To provide a structured research and training framework for Ireland's investment in advanced imaging applied to the Life Sciences
- To establish Graduate Training Programmes in Biophotonics and Imaging
- To bridge the Physical and Life Sciences interface and, through partnership with Industry, to enhance technology developments in BioPhotonics and Imaging
- To provide a national access to Core Facilities in Molecular, Cellular, Small Animal and Human Research Imaging
- To provide the infrastructure for Ireland's participation in large-scale international research programmes underpinned by Biophotonics and Imaging
